CAN WE HOST A CEREMONY ON-SITE BEFORE THE CELEBRATION?
Las Cárcavas enjoys a privileged location along Uruguay’s stunning Atlantic coast. It is just 15 minutes from José Ignacio, one of the country’s most exclusive seaside villages, and only 10 minutes from the iconic Laguna Garzón Bridge, designed by renowned architect Rafael Viñoly. Punta del Este, Uruguay’s most famous beach destination, is approximately one hour away and offers a vibrant mix of dining, shopping, nightlife, and cultural attractions. Meanwhile, Montevideo, the nation’s capital, can be reached in less than three hours, making it an easy option for a day trip or international connections.
For celebrations in the Beach House in combination with the Pool Terrace - indoor-outdoor setting - Las Cárcavas can accomodate up to 350 guests. For celebrations in the open countryside covered by a tent, Las Cárcavas can comfortably host upto 1.000 people.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN LAS CARCAVAS ACCOMMODATE?
Las Cárcavas Restaurant handles all catering in-house -from elegant tapas receptions, to multi-course dinners and late-night bites, using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients most from our organic garden, local fishermen and regional farms. Couples who wish to bring an external caterer are welcome as long as they are on our certified partners list.

CAN WE WATCH THE SUNSET FROM LAS CARCAVAS?
Yes! - and it is unlike anything you have seen before. At Las Cárcavas, the sun sets directly over the beach and the open Atlantic, painting the sky in shades of gold, amber and pink. On full moon nights, depending on the month, the moon rises from the sea itself or emerges from the pine forest - a spectacle that no ther venue can offer. For those who like sunrises, Las Cárcavas begins every single day year-round with a sunrise born from the sea.

HOW CAN GUESTS ARRIVE?
For those arriving by car, we have ample private parking on the premises. Many choose to hire a shuttle service, which can be by bus or van depending on the number of people. We can advise you and recommend shuttle services.
